dc.description.abstract | La educación es un bien público y un derecho humano del que nadie puede quedar excluido. El pleno ejercicio del derecho a la educación exige que ésta sea de calidad, promoviendo el máximo desarrollo de las múltiples potencialidades de cada persona. En el contexto de América Latina -y en Chile también- los sistemas educativos no están pudiendo dar una respuesta adecuada en el nuevo escenario social en el que estamos inmersos. La exclusión educativa clara expresión de la vulneración del derecho a una educación de calidad para todos no refiere sólo a los estudiantes que interrumpen su trayectoria educativa, su manifestación más extrema, sino también al acceso y al logro de aprendizajes. | es_ES |
dc.description.abstract | Education is a public asset and a human right, and nobody should be excluded from it. Fully exercising the right of education demands this to be quality education which promotes full development of each person's diverse potentialities. ln the Latin American context and also in Chile, educational systems cannot respond adequately to the new social scenario in which we are immersed. Educational exclusion -clear expression of the violation of people's right to have quality education does not only affect students who suspend their educational path -its most extreme manifestation- but also their leaming access and achievement. | |
