The Gabriela Mistral University Library has developed the following Academic Repository in order to preserve, disseminate and make available the full-text contents of the academic production developed by the different actors in the academic and research field of the University.

dc.description.abstractHace veinticinco años, al anochecer del martes 17 de septiembre de 1968, en las cercanías de Linares, en un accidente automovilístico absurdo para el entendimiento humano, murió trágicamente don Jaime Eyzaguirre Gutiérrez, insigne historiador y maestro inolvidable. Algún sentido ha de tener que quien amó tanto a Chile nos dejara en las vísperas del aniversario de la patria. Hoy, al cumplirse treinta años de ese infausto acontecimiento, hemos querido reproducir en estas páginas los párrafos más destacados de lo que dijeron o escribieron acerca de él, en sus opiniones, discursos fúnebres o artículos de prensa, algunos distinguidos profesores y personalidades de la épocaes_ES
