A novelty in the phenomenon of domestic violence is increasing reports of men against their wives, there is little literature on the subject. Research on violence in the couple's relationship has focused mainly on the man-offender relationship / female-victim. This paper investigated the opposite situation, when men are victims and suffer the consequences of violence. Speeches of seven men victims of violence in their relationship, emerging from an interview in depth, semi-structured analyzed. The results show that women use mostly verbal and physical violence to demand their partners to behave as they wish, thereby jeopardizing their masculinity, their place in their relationship, their relational pattern and how they appreciate what happens to them, how they live and how they express it. The need to tackle the phenomenon from the perceptions of men violated by their partners is discussed.
