dc.description.abstractEl presente escrito entrega algunas reflexiones en torno al importante rol de las instituciones educativas en el desarrollo valórico y social de los estudiantes que forma en sus aulas. Se comienza realizando una descripción de lo que implica la responsabilidad social y la relación directa del compromiso social en los jóvenes para la formación de la identidad. Posteriormente, se examina el rol de la escuela como agente de socialización, realizando un análisis sobre la realidad actual, exponiendo algunas de las demandas que la sociedad exige a los establecimientos educativos en el desarrollo del pensamiento ético, comprensión política y conducta prosocial de los educandos, analizando el rol que le compete a los docentes para responder a estas demandas.es_ES
dc.description.abstractThis article provides some thoughts on the important role of educational institutions in the valoric and social development of their students. lt begins with a description of what social responsibility means and the direct relationship of social engagement in young people for identity formation. Subsequently, the role of schools as agents of socialization is examined. An analysis on the current reality is done, which identifies some of the demands that society requires from educational institutions relating to ethical thinking development, political understanding and prosocial behavior of students. Finally, the role teachers must have to meet these demande is analyzed.
