dc.description.abstract | El presente trabajo abordará la influencia de algunas mujeres en el proceso civilizatorio occidental que va desde el siglo XI al siglo XVI. En primer lugar, se analizarán aquellas circunstancias del siglo XI y XII que hicieron de la mujer una figura central para el refinamiento de las costumbres rústicas de caballeros y guerreros medievales. Seguidamente, se resaltará la influencia de los libros de caballería en las mentalidades de hombres y mujeres conquistadoras del siglo XVI. Finalmente se señalará la transmisión cultural encarnada por aquellas mujeres en el Nuevo Mundo. A lo largo del trabajo es posible advertir la importancia de la mujer como agente civilizatorio y los conflictos surgidos entre lo profano y lo sagrado, que se cristalizarán alrededor de la figura femenina como síntesis de fusión de horizontes culturales diferentes. | es_ES |
dc.description.abstract | This paper deals with the influence of some women in the western civilizing process that goes from the 11 th to the 16 th century. Firstly, it will be analyzed those circumstances of 11 th and 12 th century that made women a central figure for the refinement of the rustic custom of medieval knights and warriors. Secondly, it will be highlighted the influence of the chivalric romance in men and women´s mindset in the 16 th century. Finally, the cultural transmission represented by those women and its impact in the New World. Throughout this paper it is possible to point out the importance of women as civilizing agent and the conflicts risen among the profane and the sacred, that will solidify the feminine figure as a synthesis of fusion of horizons. | |
