dc.description.abstractEl objetivo de ésta tesis para optar al grado de Magister en Intervención Social Familiar, fue identificar las capacidades de afrontamiento que presentaban las personas al momento de ser notificadas como seropositivas. Para el logro de los objetivos, se realizó un estudio cualitativo con un diseño descriptivo, cuyo procedimiento fue, a través, de la aplicación de una entrevista focalizada, cuyo objetivo fue centrar la atención del entrevistado sobre la experiencia concreta que se quería abordar. Para esta investigación la muestra correspondió a 5 jóvenes entre los 20 a 30 años de edad, de nacionalidad chilena, que se atendían y eran pacientes de la Fundación Vivo Positivo de la ciudad de Santiago, Región Metropolitana, los que fueron notificados como seropositivos en un periodo de un año. En cuanto a los resultados con respecto a la investigación, muestran algunas diferencias relativas al contexto, factores protectores y factores de riesgo asociados a cada uno de ellos, entendiendo de que somos seres únicos, singulares y particulares, con realidad y vivencias propias únicas e irrepetibles. <br> The objective of this thesis to qualify for the Master's degree in Family Social Intervention was to identify the coping skills that people presented at the time of being notified as HIV positive. To achieve the objectives, a qualitative study was carried out with a descriptive design, whose procedure was, through the application of a focused interview, with the objective of focusing the interviewee's attention on the specific experience that was to be addressed. For this investigation, the sample corresponded to 5 young people between 20 and 30 years of age, of Chilean nationality, who were treated and were patients of the Vivo Positivo Foundation of the city of Santiago, Metropolitan Region, who were notified as seropositive in a one-year period. Regarding the results with respect to the research, they show some differences regarding the context, protective factors and risk factors associated with each of them, understanding that we are unique, unique and particular beings, with unique and unrepeatable reality and own experiences.es_ES
