dc.description.abstractEs común que, desde una perspectiva tomista, al referirse a las virtudes y vicios, ambos sean denominados como hábitos, cuya diferencia estriba en que los primeros son buenos y los segundos, malos. Sin embargo, la noción de hábito, según lo trata el mismo santo Tomás, adquiere un nivel de precisión que exige revisar la susodicha distinción, sobre todo por su vínculo con conceptos tales como: connaturalidad, conveniencia y naturaleza. Por ello, a lo largo de este artículo se intentará precisar el concepto hábito en Tomás de Aquino y establecer, por un lado, si efectivamente es completa la distinción dentro de los hábitos operativos entre virtudes y vicios a partir de la noción de hábito y, por otro, comprender bajo qué argumentos santo Tomás estableció este paralelo si eventualmente no era posible.es_ES
dc.description.abstractIt is common, from a Thomistic point of view, referring to the virtues and vices, that both are known as habits, whose difference is that the former are good and the latter are bad. However, the notion of habit, as examined by Thomas himself, acquires a level of accuracy that requires going through the earlier distinction, especially because of its link with concepts such as: connaturality, convenience and nature. Thus, throughout this article I will attempt to define the concept of habits of Thomas Aquinas and establish, on one hand, whether the distinction between virtues and vices is effectively complete within operating habits, considering the notion of habit and, on the other hand, to understand on what ground Thomas established this parallel, if eventually it was not possible.
