This research deals with the concept of true happiness based on books I, II and III of the book De Philosofiae Consolatione of Boethius. The author, through a fictitious dialogue with the “Wisdom”, seeks to give meaning to unjust reclusion leaving us a deep reflection about the axis of true happiness. Demonstrates he with logical arguments that satisfaction of human soul cannot be reached by means of finite goods, but rather through perennial and especially the infinite goods. This reflection is particularly useful as a reference point for the post-modern man.
