The Gabriela Mistral University Library has developed the following Academic Repository in order to preserve, disseminate and make available the full-text contents of the academic production developed by the different actors in the academic and research field of the University.

dc.description.abstractImportancia histórica y social. Fue el primer balneario de Chile, el cual era visitado por la alta sociedad de principios del siglo XX, lo que condujo a Cartagena a tener un aspecto más bien distinto de lo que son los balnearios chilenos. Situación histórica que hace que la ciudad tenga hoy un patrimonio arquitectónico, urbano e histórico que se encuentra subvalorado.
