The Gabriela Mistral University Library has developed the following Academic Repository in order to preserve, disseminate and make available the full-text contents of the academic production developed by the different actors in the academic and research field of the University.
The UGM University at the beginning of the year 2017 incorporated the UCINF University, also adding that collection where we find memories, theses, degree works, academic magazines, speeches, books, digital and sound files. Contact: repositorio@ugm.cl

dc.description.abstractPor regla general toda universidad aspira a la excelencia. Sin embargo, no todas ellas entienden los mismo por excelencia y por proyección, los instrumentos de medición son variados. En este artículo nos proponemos indagar acerca de la naturaleza de la excelencia en la educación superior, en particular en el caso chileno. Para ello hemos distinguido dos formas de entender a excelencia, una, que hemos llamado “sin alma” y otra, que hemos llamado “con alma”, cuya diferencia conceptual radica en una distinción análoga entre una excelencia cualitativa y una cuantitativa.es_ES
dc.description.abstractGenerally every university aspires to excellence. However, not all of them understand the same thing about excellence and projection, the instruments to measure that are different. In this article we intend to investigate the nature of excellence in higher education, specifically in Chile. We have distinguished two ways of understanding excellence, in one hand which we have called "soulless" and by the other hand which we have called "with soul", whose conceptual difference lies in analogical distinction between qualitative and quantitative excellence.
