The Gabriela Mistral University Library has developed the following Academic Repository in order to preserve, disseminate and make available the full-text contents of the academic production developed by the different actors in the academic and research field of the University.
The UGM University at the beginning of the year 2017 incorporated the UCINF University, also adding that collection where we find memories, theses, degree works, academic magazines, speeches, books, digital and sound files. Contact: repositorio@ugm.cl

dc.description.abstractEl presente artículo tiene por objeto interiorizarse en los fundamentos que identifican la esencia de la universidad, para poder así comprender y comparar de mejor modo la racionalidad interna imperante en las universidades de esta época denominada por algunos como la de la (Pos) verdad. De este modo, a través de una breve enumeración de tópicos que nos parecen centrales sobre lo que a la universidad la constituye como tal, y en confrontación con la nueva racionalidad, intentaremos hacer un análisis que permita comprender cómo, en definitiva, algunas dimensiones de lo esencial de la universidad van desapareciendo y otras conservando, y en qué medida estas dimensiones esenciales se pueden y deben seguir cultivando.es_ES
dc.description.abstractThis article aims at exploring the base foundations that identify the essence of the University in order to better understand and compare the internal rationality prevailing in the contemporary Higher Education Institutions, period usually referred to as the (Pos) truth one. In this way, through a brief exploration of topics that are central to what constitutes a university as such, and in confrontation with the new rationality, the present paper tries to make an analysis that allows us to understand how, in short, some dimensions of the essentials of the university are disappearing and while others are kept, and to what extent such essential dimensions can and should continue to be cultivated.
