dc.description.abstractLa obesidad en Chile ha alcanzado cifras alarmantes, por lo que el gobierno de Chile ha tomado cartas en el asunto aprobando la Ley 20.606, la cual consiste en indicar el exceso de nutrientes críticos en aquellos alimentos altos en azúcar, sodio, grasas saturadas y calorías, mediante sellos de advertencias rotulados en los envases de los alimentos que sobrepasen los límites establecidos de estos nutrientes. Esta ley no sólo busca regular el etiquetado de los alimentos, sino que también restringe la publicidad de los alimentos altos en dirigida a menores de 14 años, además de la prohibición de venta y publicidad en los establecimientos educacionales, a partir de esta ley que se aprobó en el año 2016 es que surge la necesidad de determinar la actitud de compra y opinión de los consumidores en las comunas de Maipú, Cerro Navia y Las Condes, de la Región Metropolitana de Chile. A partir de esta investigación podemos contribuir a mejorar aspectos o buscar nuevas estrategias para combatir el sobrepeso y obesidad. Y para esto se aplicó una encuesta a las afueras de supermercados de cada una de las comunas anteriormente señaladas, a 90 personas que cumplan con los requisitos de ser mayores de 18 años, haber escuchado, visto y/o leído sobre los sellos de advertencia, pertenecer a las comunas establecidas para este estudio. La información fue procesada y analizada mediante estadística descriptiva, con análisis de frecuencia y porcentajes. Los resultados indicaron que el 44,7 % de los encuestados no modificó su actitud de compra frente a los sellos de advertencia, mientras que el 18,5 % si cambió su actitud de compra. Con esto se pudo concluir que la mayoría de los consumidores continúan comprando los mismos alimentos a pesar de la existencia de sellos.es_ES
dc.description.abstractObesity in Chile has reached alarming figures. For this reason, the Chilean government has taken actions by passing Law 20,606, which is to indicate the excess of critical nutrients in those foods high in sugar, sodium, saturated fats and calories, using marked warning stamps on food´s packaging who exceed the established limits of these indicated nutrients, this law not only seeks to regulate the labeling of foodstuff but also restricts the advertising of high foodstuff addressed to children under 14 years of age the prohibition of sale and advertising in schools, from this law which was approved in 2016 that is why appears the need to determinate the opinion & attitude’s purchased of consumers in the boroughs of Maipú, Cerro Navia & Las Condes belonging to the Metropolitan Region of Chile. From this research we can contribute to improve aspects or seek new strategies to fight the overweight and obesity. For this a survey was applied to 90 people who get the requirements such as being over 18 years of age, having heard, seen or read about the warning stamps, been from the target communes and being in charge of making the purchases all this was done in different supermarkets of each commune. The information was analyzed and proceeds by descriptive statistics with analysis of frequency and percentages. The results indicated that 44.7% of the respondents didn´t change their buying attitude against the warning labels, meanwhile the 18.5% did modify their purchasing attitude. Been able to conclude that the majority of the consumers continue buying the same foodstuff in spite of the existence of stamps.
