The Gabriela Mistral University Library has developed the following Academic Repository in order to preserve, disseminate and make available the full-text contents of the academic production developed by the different actors in the academic and research field of the University.

dc.description.abstractEste artículo busca reflexionar en torno a la situación, resultados y proyecciones de los Objetivos Fundamentales Transversales en Chile. A partir de la pregunta sobre su real implementación en el sistema educativo, se describe qué información existe y qué señalan los docentes respecto de esta innovación curricular de los años 90. Para analizar aquello, se establece una relación entre las expectativas y desafíos que involucra la transversalidad y los reales resultados de la implementación en Chile. El artículo finaliza estableciendo hipótesis explicativas que permitan responderse preguntas sobre las fortalezas y debilidades de la implementación de los OFTes_ES
dc.description.abstractThis article 's aim is to reflect upon the situation, results, and projections of the Fundamental Transversal Objectives (FTO) in Chile. From the question about its real implementation in the educational system, it is described which information exists and what experts say about this particular curricular innovation during the nineties. ln order to analyze the issue, a relationship between the expectations and challenges has been established, involving a transversal approach, and the actual results of the implementation in Chile. The article finishes establishing explicative hypothesis that allow the readers to answer to themselves questions about strengths and weaknesses for the FTO implementation.
